Mugdock Country Park

mugdock_header

Mugdock Country Park is one of the Scotland’s most popular tourist attractions boasting more than 600,000 visitors every year. Once home of the noble Grahams and more notably James Graham Marquis of Montrose, the park is situated just 10 miles north of Glasgow and only a 45 minute drive from Loch Lomond. The park’s boundary spans both Stirling and East Dunbartonshire and enjoys spectacular views of the Campsie Fells. A great day out for all of the family every day of the year.

Mugdock is steeped in history with buildings dating back to the late 1300’s. The park’s visitor centre nestles within the area’s Victorian estate and offers visitors a great opportunity to discover more about our semi-natural countryside and built heritage. The centre also hosts a great shopping and eating experience in our restaurant, bistro, and gallery and gift shop.
